Case Study - Timberland's European Distributor Conference, Scotland, December 2008

AOK Events were recently appointed to oversee the technical production of this important conference, as well as overseeing a large chunk of the on site event management.  

The main presentation took place in a glass roofed atrium and sunlight on the screen could have been an issue for the 250 delegates. To rectify this we used a 15,000 lumen projector - bright enough to keep the image clear in the sunlight.  As the stage set was designed to fit between the sweeping staircase it needed to be presentable from front and back. so had to be designed to be seen by the delegates from both sides.  

The dinner on the Wednesday night took place in an old cow shed. We had to light all the barns both internally and externally and turn the venue into a dinner environment, which could also accommodate Scottish dancing and an Awards Ceremony. We achieved this with a mixture of up lighting and down lighting and break-up patterns on the floor, as well as staging, PA and plasma screens.
