10 Trinity Square – Four Seasons
Four Seasons have recently opened their doors to the latest addition to their collection, 10 Trinity Square. Direct of wefindvenues Paul Moynihan and myself were able to go down on its opening evening along with other event industry professionals to see it in its finest.
It is a 5* hotel but has a more exclusive feel compared to the Park Lane property. The building itself is striking, with ‘The Rotunda’ restaurant and bar being the central focus as you walk into the venue.
The main event space ‘The UN Ballroom’ is a remarkable room which used to be the reception of the United Nations General Assembly back in 1946. All the historic detail has been restored and enhanced so if you want a room to make a statement then this is it!
There are also smaller rooms on the 1st floor which are ideal for boardroom meetings and smaller private events. They also have the added bonus of secondary natural daylight through a window that overlooks the main entrance which is a great way to keep the spaces feeling light and airy.
There are also 100 bedrooms on site which are very sleek and indulgently designed – we wouldn’t mind staying here!
The venue is already proving to be hugely popular so if you want to create an event to remember make sure to enquire soon!
I had the pleasure of being able to visit the newly opened Aquavit Restaurant in the upcoming St James’ Market development just off Piccadilly Circus. The restaurant boasts a Scandinavian themed design throughout, with a hint of luxury but at the same time creating a relaxed atmosphere.
It restaurant has two private dining rooms located on the first floor – one slightly larger accommodating up to 60 people and the smaller holding up to 14 guests on one table.
Of course favourite part of the restaurant is the drinks trolley that is wheeled around the restaurant! ‘Aquavit’ is a distilled liquor which is what the restaurant is named after and guests can enjoy the drink whilst dining – however be warned it is quite strong!
Sea Containers by Green and Fortune:
Paul and I were very excited to go down and see the newly launched event space by Green and Fortune which is a fantastic venue located within Ogilvy’s new headquarters, Sea Containers, right on London’s Southbank.
The venue has some of the best views over London with each event space offering floor to ceiling windows and its own terrace to make use of – perfect for the summer months.
The space consists of a private dining room, two large bar area’s which are great for drink receptions, a large flexible meeting room on the 12th floor which can divide into 4 separate spaces, an amphitheatre and an incredible roof terrace with unrivalled views over London’s skyline.
What makes this venue even better is its very reasonable rates and its great value for money. Whether you have a small dinner for 14 or a reception for 600, this is definitely a space that you should check out!
