AOK Events’ Legendary England Test XI

The Lord’s Taverners are the UK’s leading youth cricket and disability sports charity dedicated to giving disadvantaged and disabled young people a sporting chance. AOK Events are proud to be the official sales partner of the charity for the Legendary England Test XI Dinner, taking place at The Hilton Park Lane on Thursday 27th September.
So, what is the event?
More than “just another sporting dinner”, this event will be supported by our legendary and insightful selection panel of Andrew Strauss, Mike Atherton, Henry Blofield and Mark Nicholas, debating who should make the Legendary Test XI from the last 50 years of English Cricket, as well as sharing their stories. Not only will guests enjoy first-class hospitality (including a three-course dinner with matched wines and Q&A), but what makes this event so unique is that guests will have the chance to debate with the legendary panel, as well as be invited to vote on their selection.
In anticipation of the event, some of the AOK Events team have decided that they fancy themselves as England Cricket selectors, so we decided to create our very own AOK Events panel of selectors and asked them to provide us with some ‘insight’ – here’s what AOK’s “legendary” panel of Alex Hewitt, Rob Strachan and Phil Driver came up with…
