Book a Corporate Golf Day at one of these Championship Golf Courses!
11 April 2023
A corporate golf day brings together great surroundings, friendly competition and time to connect. Whether you’re entertaining clients, strengthening business relationships or rewarding your team, a day at a championship golf course gives guests something to look forward to.
Away from the office, the relaxed pace allows conversations to develop naturally, with plenty of opportunities to catch up between shots and over a meal afterwards. Choosing a memorable course can make the invitation all the more appealing.
With the right format, corporate golf days can suit a range of abilities. Handicapped competitions help golfers of different standards compete together, while coaching sessions and introductory activities can give newcomers a chance to get involved.
Explore some of our favourite golf courses in the UK and further afield for your next corporate golf day:
The Grove
Considered one of the finest golf courses in Europe, the championship course is open to everyone and is the perfect venue for an inclusive corporate golf day. In addition to the 18-hole course, there is also a long driving range and practice ground with trainers available, with opportunities for everyone to enjoy the sport.
Walton Heath
Walk the tracks of history at one of the world’s most highly regarded golf clubs, famous for its rich golfing and political history. Both courses on the grounds feature in the UK and Ireland’s Top 50 rankings. The Old has earned its place in the World’s Top 100 every year since the inception of the rankings in 1938.
Gleneagles
Gleneagles is one of the greatest names in the world of golf. With three of the top golf courses in Scotland and as recent hosts of The Ryder and Solheim Cups, it’s easy to see why. The beautiful golf courses in Perthshire, in equally beautiful settings, are as much fun for novices to play as they are for the pros.
The K Club
Nestled in beautiful county Kildare, the only 36-hole, Arnold Palmer designed destination in Europe, The K Club is the perfect venue to accommodate a corporate golf group. In addition to hosting the 2006 Ryder Cup among other championship tournaments, they regularly host the Irish Open and Irish Golf Championships.
Camiral
Voted No.1 Golf Resort in Spain, Camiral Golf & Wellness is home to two golf courses including the acclaimed Stadium Course, consistently ranked among the best in Europe. Home to the Spanish Open on three occasions, the resort is a regular venue for European Tour tournaments. With its well-equipped, hi-tech practice facilities and superb natural setting—it’s perfect for groups of any size and skill.
What Can a Corporate Golf Day Include?
Your corporate golf day can be tailored to your guests, objectives and budget. Depending on the venue and package, the day could include:
Breakfast and refreshments on arrival
Practice time and coaching with a golf professional
An 18-hole competition with a format suited to your group
Nearest-the-pin and longest-drive challenges
Branded golf balls, clothing or guest gifts
Lunch, dinner or a drinks reception
A prize presentation to round off the day
For mixed-ability groups, coaching sessions and shorter formats can help less experienced golfers feel involved.
Choosing the Right Course for Your Guests
Consider where your guests are travelling from, their golfing experience and how much time they have available. A course near London may suit a one-day event, while a resort with accommodation can turn your golf day into an overnight incentive trip.
It’s also worth checking handicap requirements, equipment hire, dining options and activities for guests who would prefer not to play.
