Goodwood Revival

13 September 2019 - 15 September 2019

The Goodwood Revival is the world’s most popular historic motor race meeting and the only event of its kind to be staged in the romantic time capsule of the Fifties and Sixties. As well as recreating the golden era of motor sport, the Revival offers exceptional wheel-to-wheel racing around a classic circuit, untouched by the modern world.

As well as accurately recreating a golden age of motor sport, the Revival offers exceptional wheel-to-wheel racing around the celebrated Goodwood track, with period vehicles, aircraft, entertainment, glamour and a truly special atmosphere that can only be experienced first hand at the event. The Revival is your chance to see great cars and motorcycles in their natural habitat and soak up the unique ambience of the world’s only sporting event set entirely to a period theme.

Friday is official practice day with drivers driving ever harder to set the fastest lap times. Performances on Friday establish grid positions for the racing over the weekend

Saturday is all-day racing (save for one qualifying session for the Royal Automobile Club TT race). Highlights include the hugely popular St Mary’s saloon car race featuring a host of famous drivers. Grand Prix cars, sports cars and motorcycles will also race today. Saturday is also Ladies’ Day where fashion is almost as important and every bit as glamorous as the racing.

Sunday is all racing action too, but featuring the sensational one-hour, two-driver and star-studded Royal Automobile Club TT Celebration (for sixties GT cars). Grand Prix cars, sports cars and motorcycles also race today and there will be a second round of the St Mary’s saloon car race.
