Home to Honda, Suzuki and Yamaha, Japan is one of the biggest manufacturers of motorcycles in the world. The country has a long history of motorcycle racing, with the first MotoGP race being staged in 1963 at the Suzuka circuit.

The Twin Ring Motegi is a unique one on the MotoGP calendar, posing a series of stop-start hairpins for the riders to navigate. That makes it a technical course characterised by dramatic changes in speed, but offering plenty of overtaking opportunities.

As the home to several of the biggest motorcycle manufacturers in the world, the Motegi Twin Ring Circuit in Japan has been a staple on the MotoGP^™ calendar for over 20 years.

The Land of the Rising Sun is an incredible country to visit offering the perfect mix of the old and the new with traditional culture and modern technology. Motegi is located about 150km north of Tokyo and offers a quiet and natural landscape compared to the sprawling city.
