Football fan and wefindvenues‘ Venue Finding Assistant, Louis Sakyi, headed to Liverpool for the weekend to see what it had on offer (Coincidence?).
After a whistle-stop tour of site visits around Merseyside, here are his top XI venues:
What’s it got?: 9 flexible corporate meeting rooms, all located on one side of this huge hotel. The Rum Warehouse is the largest of them all, capable of doing a banquet for 600 guests or a conference for 1000.
Capacities: 448 Cabaret / 994 Theatre
Good For: Conferences and Banquets
What’s it got?: Great blanc canvas space that has lots of opportunities for branding conferences. Hinterlands would also be amazing for corporate parties with lots of potential for theming and production over the three spaces.
Capacities: 300 theatre / 900 Standing
Good For: Conferences and Corporate parties
What’s it got?: An incredible conference centre which is perfect for large scale events, equipped with handy, smaller break out rooms. The ACC is split between the M&S Bank Arena and Exhibition Centre Liverpool.
Capacities: 3000 Banquet / 6000 Theatre

What’s it got?: Just a few seconds walk from the ACC Liverpool is the Pullman Liverpool. These two venues work great together for any overflow meeting spaces you may need, with the hotel offering 216 bedrooms for guests that may be travelling in.
Capacities: 100 Theatre / 40 Boardroom

What’s it got?: Known as the home of British and International Modern and Contemporary Art, Tate has an incredible gallery in the middle of the famous Albert Dock. This venue works well for drinks receptions, allowing your guests to wander and enjoy the exhibitions on show.

What’s it got?: Home of the famous Grand National, this racecourse has event spaces split over a number of stands. Aintree can also host events on the track for an extra special summer party. With direct connections to Liverpool Lime Street, Aintree is a great option away from the city centre.

What’s it got?: Diverse meeting spaces located in the new main stand at Anfield, this stadium has all the modern conference and events features that you would expect and more.

What’s it got?: A beautiful cathedral that would work well for any large gala dinners and awards ceremonies. If you have a special occasion that needs a remarkable backdrop, look no further.

What’s it got?: Every bedroom is different in this luxury hotel. Currently undergoing building work, the hotel hopes to soon increase the number of bedrooms, accompanied by a brand new meeting space with views overlooking Liverpool.

Good For: Meetings and Private Dining
What’s it got?: A stunning dry hire venue, perfect for exhibitions and conferences. Split between The Great Hall and The Concert Room, there is also a couple of smaller break out rooms which work well for VIP’s or crew members.

What’s it got?: Hilton has 10 function rooms and 214 bedrooms in a prime location in the centre of Liverpool. With their contemporary style, Hilton is popular for any residential meetings and events.
