What 2026 Taught Us About Corporate Hospitality: 6 Trends Shaping Summer 2027

5 August 2026

The corporate hospitality trends we saw in summer 2026 proved one thing: hospitality has moved well beyond the occasional day at the races.

This year’s calendar has taken our clients from Centre Court to Silverstone, Lord’s to Wembley and Henley to Goodwood, with a record-breaking stadium residency and several major international events in between. It has been busy, varied, and a very good reminder that the best hospitality experience is not necessarily the most traditional one.

At AOK Events, our 2026 hospitality calendar has included everything from England v Japan at Wembley and Lily Allen at The O2 to Harry Styles’ 12-night Wembley run, Wimbledon, the British Grand Prix, Henley Royal Regatta, cricket at Lord’s, Goodwood Festival of Speed and Bruno Mars.

With The Weeknd, Ariana Grande, the US Open Tennis, and more still to come, the summer is not quite finished yet. However, the corporate hospitality trends shaping next year’s calendar are already becoming clear.

Here’s what 2026 taught us and what businesses should be planning for in 2027.

Summer 2026: Corporate Hospitality Got More Varied

Music Became A Main Event For Client Entertainment

Live music has always had a place in hospitality, but 2026 pushed it firmly to the top of the corporate calendar.

Harry Styles’ record-breaking 12-night run at Wembley Stadium was one of the year’s biggest cultural moments, while Lily Allen at The O2 offered a completely different arena experience. Bruno Mars, My Chemical Romance, The Weeknd and Ariana Grande have made London’s summer concert schedule feel more like a festival line-up than a list of arena dates.

For businesses, music hospitality can be particularly powerful because it creates an immediate shared experience. It is emotional, celebratory and often more accessible to guests who may not follow a particular sport. The best conversations sometimes begin with everyone singing the same chorus instead of sales pitch.

Britain’s Sporting Summer Still Delivered

Some occasions remain classics for a reason.

Wimbledon, Henley Royal Regatta, cricket at Lord’s, the British Grand Prix and Goodwood Festival of Speed all offered something different in 2026, from relaxed riverside entertaining to the full-throttle atmosphere of Silverstone.

A full day of hospitality creates space for conversations to happen naturally, without forcing an agenda. Add exceptional food, premium views and seamless service, and the event becomes far more than a ticket.

The variety matters too. A private suite at Lord’s can provide a focused setting for a key client group, while Henley or Goodwood lends itself to a more social guest list. Silverstone delivers scale and energy. Wimbledon brings global recognition. Choosing between them should always begin with the audience and the relationship you want to build.

Football Extended Beyond The Stadium

England v Japan at Wembley was an early highlight in the wider 2026 hospitality calendar, but football’s influence stretched far beyond one match.

The FIFA World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico created major opportunities for private screenings, company watch parties and branded fan experiences back in the UK. It showed that businesses do not need to travel to the host city to turn a major sporting moment into meaningful hospitality.

When the occasion is right, the shared atmosphere can be just as important as the location.

Hospitality Became Part Of The Trip

The international calendar also continued to grow, with Formula 1 weekends in Monaco, Hungary and the Netherlands alongside the US Open Tennis in New York.

Some of the most valuable experiences are no longer a single afternoon. We’re seeing carefully planned itineraries that bring together hospitality, travel, accommodation, dining and time to connect away from the usual working environment.

6 Corporate Hospitality Trends To Watch In 2027

1. Women’s Sport Will Become A Core Part Of Hospitality Planning

Women’s sport is no longer an alternative addition to the corporate calendar. It is increasingly one of its strongest opportunities.

Following the return of women’s tennis to Queen’s Club and the continued growth of major women’s sporting events, the HSBC Championships WTA 500 will be back in 2027. England Women will also face Australia in a multi-format Ashes series, including a Test at Headingley and fixtures at Lord’s, The Kia Oval, Old Trafford and other leading grounds.

For businesses, these events offer the chance to entertain a broader range of guests while aligning with a sporting landscape that is attracting greater audiences, investment and cultural attention. The most forward-thinking hospitality programmes will not treat women’s sport as a separate category. They will simply include the best events.

2. The Ashes Will Dominate The 2027 Summer

Few sporting rivalries create anticipation quite like England v Australia, and in 2027 The Ashes returns to England.

The men’s five-Test series will run from June to August, with matches at Trent Bridge, Lord’s, Edgbaston, the Utilita Bowl and The Kia Oval. Alongside it, the Women’s Ashes will bring another major programme of international cricket to the summer calendar.

For corporate hosts, cricket works because the pace of the day leaves room for guests to talk, dine and enjoy the occasion without missing the action. It suits both relationship-building and team rewards, particularly when experienced from a luxury private suite.

As an official hospitality reseller for Lord’s Cricket Ground, AOK Events can provide access to sought-after experiences at one of the world’s most iconic sporting venues, including our 18-person and 30-person Super Suites.

3. Sport Will Feel More Like A Festival

The line between sport, live music and entertainment is becoming increasingly blurred.

The British Grand Prix is already a four-day experience, where racing meets headline music and entertainment. Goodwood Festival of Speed follows a similar formula, while events such as Polo in the Park and Taste of London build food, drink and social experiences around the central attraction.

Guests increasingly expect more than a good seat. They want an atmosphere, a choice of experiences, and a full day that feels worth stepping away from the office for.

In 2027, the strongest hospitality packages will be the ones that consider the complete guest journey: arrival, dining, entertainment, the main event and the final farewell.

4. Relaxed Hospitality Will Keep Growing

Premium does not have to mean formal.

Events such as Henley Royal Regatta, Polo in the Park, Queen’s Club and Taste of London create plenty of opportunities to host clients in settings that feel polished but still social. Guests can move around, meet other people and enjoy the experience at their own pace.

This style of hospitality is particularly useful for developing relationships, bringing together mixed groups or inviting guests who may feel less comfortable in a traditional corporate setting. It also reflects a wider change in how businesses want to connect. They want less stiff networking, and more genuinely enjoyable time together.

5. International Hospitality Will Merge With Incentive Travel

Monaco Grand Prix, the US Open Golf at Pebble Beach and European Formula 1 weekends show how easily a major event can become the centrepiece of a wider trip.

Rather than flying in for one fixture and leaving immediately afterwards, businesses are increasingly looking at complete itineraries: a brilliant hotel, a memorable dinner, time in the destination and hospitality at the event itself.

This can make the experience work harder. It creates more opportunities for conversation, gives guests something genuinely distinctive to remember and turns a hospitality booking into an incentive, leadership retreat or high-value client trip.

6. Businesses Will Plan Programmes, Not One-Off Days

Perhaps the biggest corporate hospitality trend for 2027 is a more intentional approach to the calendar.

Rather than booking the same event every year or choosing one high-profile date, businesses can build a varied programme around different people and objectives. That might mean a private suite at Lord’s for key clients, Queen’s Club for a developing relationship, Silverstone for a team reward and a concert at Wembley for a wider guest group.

This approach makes hospitality more inclusive and more commercially useful. It also gives teams the chance to match each experience to the audience, budget and purpose instead of assuming one event will work for everyone.

Why Early Planning Matters For Summer 2027

The biggest events do not only sell quickly, but the best hospitality spaces, private suites and most flexible packages are often secured first.

Starting early gives businesses more choice over dates, guest numbers, settings and budgets. It also creates time to think beyond access. Depending on the event and venue guidelines, AOK Events can help with guest management, travel, accommodation, gifting, styling, branding and entertainment, ensuring every part of the experience feels intentional.

That’s the difference between simply attending an event and creating something your guests will still be talking about long after the event or trip has taken place.
