Innocent Nature Weekend in Osea Island

The Brief

Innocent’s ‘Nature Weekend’ is the company’s yearly company offsite, bringing together staff from all of the brand’s UK and European offices for a fun-packed and educational weekend.

The Venue

Innocent tasked AOK Creative with staging their off-site on an island off the coast of Essex with a tidal causeway only usable for 4 hours a day!

We worked with the themes Shipwrecked Chic & Desert Island Discs

What we did

AOK Creative spent around 7 months planning the event including many recces to Osea Island to help events managers plan around the limitations of the 4-hour window they would have to get suppliers and guests on and off the island via the tidal causeway.
AOK Creative worked with Innocent to decide themes for the weekend, with ‘Shipwrecked Chic’ and ‘Desert Island Disco’ becoming the jumping-off point for event styling.
As Osea Island has limited permanent accommodation AOK Creative brought a yurt and bell tent village onto the island, as well as tipis and a huge stretch tent to house the 380 guests for the Innocent company meeting (and to help bring the festival vibe!).
Keeping Innocent’s focus on sustainability at the forefront of the event planning process, AOK Creative took great care to make sure where possible everything that was used for the event was sustainable, from using bamboo plates to battery operated lights.
